Close the Day On Purpose
A real shutdown ritual beats letting the day just trail off.
What the End of Day Review Is
The End of Day Review — labeled Daily Review in the app itself — is a short, deliberate ritual to close your day. It recaps what you actually finished, surfaces what didn't get done, and gives you a clean stopping point instead of the day just quietly ending.
It's the natural counterpart to your Morning Routine — one opens the day with intention, the other closes it the same way. They're independent features that happen to bookend the day, sharing only the same 3 AM day boundary.
The Recap
One screen tells you exactly where the day landed — no guessing, no scrolling back through your quest list trying to remember what happened.
Choosing What Carries Forward
Unfinished quests don't just vanish or silently roll over. The review surfaces them and lets you select which ones carry forward as tomorrow's commitments. Anything you don't re-commit stays behind instead of quietly re-appearing every day.
There's no separate "delete forever" action inside the review itself — if you genuinely want a quest gone, that still happens through the normal quest editing you'd use any other day. What the review gives you is the deliberate moment to decide, rather than letting an unfinished list grow by default.
Reflection and Your Chronicle
Your completed quests already show up in your Chronicle — a day-grouped timeline of your activity — whether or not you ever open the review. What the review adds is optional: write a short reflection or a goal for tomorrow, and that note gets saved to the day's Chronicle entry. Skip the writing, and the day still shows your completed quests, just without a note attached.
On mobile, closing the day this way also resets your Fatigue meter to zero — the actual mechanical "reset" underneath the ritual.
