How the systems connect
MainQuest isn't a list of features β it's an interconnected loop. The pieces reinforce each other so that doing one thing well makes the next thing easier:
- Your hero has stats. Your Class and Attributes (INT, STR, CHR, DEX, VIT) set the baseline. Every quest you complete in the matching domain grows the relevant stat.
- Tasks become quests. The Quest System turns each todo into a Trivial β Legendary mission with XP and gold rewards. Daily quests cycle on a 3 AM boundary; one-off quests live until completed.
- XP and gold drive growth. XP & Leveling unlocks abilities and inventory slots. Gold pays for Inventory items and (eventually) the Marketplace.
- Mana powers spells. Hydration logging tops up Mana, which fuels QuickCast actions like Streak Protection, XP Boost, and HP Recovery.
- Real stakes via HP. Missed daily quests damage your HP. Zero HP = death β you respawn at the next 3 AM tick with penalties unless a friend revives you via a Second Chance Scroll.
- Focus sessions multiply XP. Run a Pomodoro / Flowmodoro session via the Focus Timer and the XP you earn during it stacks with quest rewards.
- The story moves with you. Weekly Story chapters give your week a narrative arc tied to one of three factions.

Feature questions, answered
Do I need to use every feature?
No. The core loop is Quests β XP β Levels. Everything else (Mana, Focus Timer, Story Mode, Skills) layers on as you want it.
Which features are not yet built?

Is MainQuest free?
